We have experienced a higher quality final finish prior to paint than with any other product we’ve ever used.
– Mark Worman, Graveyard Carz
Graveyard Carz, a popular MotorTrend TV show, features Mark Worman restoring classic Mopar muscle cars in his Welby’s Collision Center. Opened in 1985, Worman saw something special in Mopar restoration and started Division Productions, the studio producing Graveyard Carz. Even though he is swamped running his shop and the production of Graveyard Carz, he has never lost his love of restoration. “My favorite part of the job is watching the transformation of a rusted-out family heirloom coming back to life and the joy the owners have in seeing it for the first time,” he said.
Transforming these classic cars takes great attention to detail. That’s why Welby’s Collision Center and Graveyard Carz choose Evecoat products for their body repair projects. “I know from personal experience that Evercoat products are definitely superior to the competition. I don’t experience the shrink back I have seen in the past from other products, and the filler and glaze leave the least amount of pinholes,” Worman said.
Specifically, Graveyard Carz uses Rage® Ultra XTRA™ (100144) and Metal Glaze® (100416) to solve their issues with hard sanding and pinholes. He went on to say, “We have experienced a higher quality final finish prior to paint than with any other product we’ve ever used. Clean finish, smooth, and no shrink back or peroxiding,” Worman said.
The most rewarding restoration project for Worman was Wendell Malmberg’s 1971 Hemi Cuda. “We call it the “Phoenix ‘Cuda,”‘ he said. “Not only is the owner a cancer survivor and a fighter, but the car was a survivor as well, and we were blessed to be a part of its resurrection.”
Evercoat knows the value and the meaning behind many of these restoration projects and brings you the best quality product so Worman and other restorers out there can get the best quality result every time.
